At the Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo, the WMSC met the Sociedad Española de Cardiología (SEC) for the symposium "Al-Andalus, lugar de encuentro," a preparatory meeting ahead of the first Tangier congress, held in the presence of the flags of Andalusia, Spain, Morocco and the European Union.

On 16 November 2025, the Sociedad Recreativa y Cultural Casino de Marbella hosted the opening of "El Niño en mi Corazón," an exhibition uniting painting, medicine and social commitment in support of childhood leukaemia research (unoentrecienmil.org). Organised with Marbella City Council and the Asociación de Cardiología del Estrecho, it featured works by Prof. Pedro Brugada, Dr Abel Murgio, Antonio Pérez Pérez and Isabelle Hass, alongside a WMSC delegation.
